As a new Canadian, we understand that financing or leasing a vehicle can be a challenge. Fortunately, Lexus is the ONLY luxury vehicle manufacturer that may approve new Canadians without credit or employment.

Applying for credit at other manufacturers may even hurt your chances of being approved by Lexus Financial Services.

If you're a Permanent Resident (PR), there are no term limits for leasing or financing, and you do not need to have a job or any Canadian credit. However, we must use Toyota/Lexus Credit Canada only, and for approval, we require proof of PV2 status from your landing paper, Canadian bank statements showing money is available, proof of resident via a driver's license or rental agreement, and a minimum of 10-20% down payment.

If you're not a Permanent Resident (PR), there are term limits capped at the expiry of your work or study permit. You will also need to have some form of Canadian credit established, provide proof of income, and pay a down payment or security deposit.
