2015 Geneva Motor Show: World premiere of Lexus LF-SA concept

March 5, 2015

The new Lexus LF-SA concept made its world debut at the 2015 Geneva Motor Show as a muscular, futuristic-looking microcar with oversized wheels, a huge front grille, and L-shaped headlights.

Measuring 3,450mm long, 1,699mm wide, and 1,430mm tall, the Lexus LF-SA concept is a driver-oriented vehicle with a 2+2 configuration, reflecting the brand's vision that the real driving experience will remain the ultimate luxury. Lexus gave no details about the powertrain, however.

With a focus on safety and connectivity, the interior proves surprisingly roomy given the ultra-compact exterior dimensions. The driver's seat is fixed, and the steering wheel and pedals are adjustable, bringing the vehicle to the driver rather than vice versa. The sliding front passenger seat, on the other hand, gives access to rear accommodation. Elsewhere, the information system includes a hologram-style digital display incorporated in the instrument panel and a wide-angle Head-Up-Display.

While no production plans have been announced yet, a future small car from Lexus would inevitably rival the likes of the MINI Cooper.
